Wireless network access at all Jade University locations for university members and guests.
Wi-Fi access is provided via eduroam, a worldwide infrastructure for wireless network access at educational and research institutions. Authentication uses the domain login of the home institution. At Jade University, the SSID 'eduroam' is used. Guests from other eduroam institutions can connect using their own credentials. Jade University members can likewise use eduroam at all participating institutions worldwide.
Jade University user account (User Administration (SECID-UADM-1.0)); Wi-Fi-capable device; correct eduroam configuration (see platform guides above)
Technical settings (all platforms):
- EAP method: PEAP
- Phase 2 authentication: MSCHAPv2
- Domain: hs-woe.de
- Username: domain login (e.g. ma1150@hs-woe.de)
- Certificate: T-TeleSec GlobalRoot Class 2
Quick guides by platform:
Apple iOS: Settings → WLAN → eduroam → enter username (ma1150@hs-woe.de) → Connect. Troubleshooting: tap (i) on eduroam → 'Forget This Network'.
