Plagiarism search engine that compares texts against online sources – usable by lecturers in Moodle and by students for self-checking.
PlagAware is a plagiarism search engine that compares texts against online document sources. The results report displays found sources graphically, making it easy to verify correct citation. Lecturers can use PlagAware in Moodle for the 'Assignment' activity. Students receive 200 credits (approx. 200 pages) for checking their own work.
Please Note:
Maximum file size: 100 MB per file. Maximum simultaneous uploads: 100. Maximum text length: 1,000,000 characters (approx. 500 pages). Supported formats: .txt, .rtf, .htm, .html, .doc, .docx, .odt, .pdf. Repeated checking via version check without additional credits.

For lecturers:
- Moodle integration as plugin for 'Assignment' activity (Moodle (APPS-MOODLE-1.0))
- Results reports with graphical source display
For students:
- 200 credits (approx. 200 pages), e.g. 10 term papers of 10 pages + 1 thesis of 100 pages
- User account required
