Multifunctional chip card for students at Jade University serving as student ID, library card, payment method, and access medium.
The CampusCard is a chip card in credit card format with a MIFARE chip and rewritable label foil. It serves as a visual student ID, library card, payment method in the cafeteria, and access medium for buildings and pool rooms. The semester ticket has been provided digitally via the 'RIDE' app since winter semester 2024/25. The CampusCard wallet can be topped up at terminals in the cafeterias and used for print, copy, and plot services.

- Student ID (visual)
- Semester ticket – digital since WS 2024/25 as Deutschlandticket via 'RIDE' app (since 01.09.2024); card imprint removed
- Library card – barcode on card; activate at library
- Electronic wallet – cashless payment: canteen/cafeteria, library fees, multifunction devices, vending machines
- Access authorization – buildings/rooms, parking (Oldenburg), time recording

- Recharge: Euro banknotes only at recharge stations
- Max. balance: €75.00
- Locations: WHV (main building, library, Mensa cash register), OL (Mensa, library), ELS (Mensa, library)
- Refund (working card): Mensa cash register

Validation: self-service machines update TRW strip; locations: WHV (main/south bldg), OL (main bldg), ELS (Weserstr. 52); cross-campus; TRW foil up to 500 rewrites.
Card management:
- First issue: free
- Replacement: €15.00 (if self-inflicted)
- Card photo: upload in eCampus (jpg/jpeg, max. 10 MB, full head visible) (eCampus (APPS-ECAMPUS-1.0))
- Blocking: via IT helpdesk – state 'card loss' (COMM-HELPDESK)
Copy/print terminals: 31 devices (ELS: 4, OL: 9, WHV: 18).
FAQ error messages:
- 'Registration failed': chip serial number issue → visit HRZ
- 'Erase card, go to terminal': wallet block → return card to last machine used
- 'Card no longer valid': visit HRZ
